Bosath Children's Educational Foundation is a non-profit organization (incorporated in the United States of America) dedicated to promoting and providing educational opportunities for less fortunate children in Sri Lanka. Founded in 2001, Bosath Children's Educational Foundation has built schools, provided teachers, scholarships, and other help for children. In the wake of the 2004 tsunami, Bosath Children's Educational Foundation stepped forward to take on the challenge of helping in the healing process by sponsoring educational resources in southern Sri Lanka.
We are currently training 1,000 children a year in computer technology and the English language. We are also planning to establish added vocational programs so that the children may better provide for their families and begin the steps to becoming educated citizens of this modern global community. We are committed to giving these less fortunate children a chance to lead a more hopeful, positive, and promising future.
